St. Ives Fresh Skin Apricot Scrub | A Product Review

St. Ives is well-known to its skincare products that claimed good reviews around the world. Even my mother recommend the brand whenever I need something for my skin, especially that I have a sensitive type all over my body. If you have seen the recent post of mine, I am suffering from eczema and until now I am treating it. Anyway, if you have come up to search about this product, you can see a bunch of reviews even from celebrities that this is a way to go but of course, all the goods have the opposites. If I can still remember it right, since this is a physical exfoliation type, others appeal that this is bad for the skin because of force peeling. They recommend that for better skin exfoliation, chemical peeling is the best way.

Brand Name: St. Ives
Product Name: Fresh Skin (Apricot)
Product Type: Scrub
Product Price: Php 335 (283g)

I am a St. Ives fan and I am using it for a year now. I can say that I have not seen any tremendous reaction to my skin. It even makes my skin smooth and glowy after. I also use this scrub all over my body and I do not think that I will discontinue using this. Not to mention, I bought this on sale so it is a sure deal for me.

As you can see on the picture above, I almost emptied the tub. I scrub once or twice a week even though the packaging recommends using it 3-4 times. On the studies I have read online, scrubbing everyday is a no-no because of the danger that it may bring to skin and because I am working 8-5 on weekdays, I use this on my rest days.

I only apply small amount to the areas that I want it covered and then I gently spread it. Maybe because of visible granules of the apricot that gives it a bad notion. I am not a professional dermatologist or something related so I can not say anything that can give clear statement regarding its benefits and hazards. But I do believe that whatever or whichever that makes you feel good and what makes your skin on its fullest, go for it. Everyone has its unique description so why not give it a try. And if you are a scrub person, purchase this one and you will never regret it.

LS BL Cream | A Product Review

This is not a facial skincare or for the body but I want to share my experience using this one. I believe that this lessen and cure such skin diseases and maybe this is also the one you are looking for because same with you, I am looking for such in my whole  This may not be the exclusive one but it is really worth a try.

Brand Name: LS
Product Name: BL Cream
Product Type: Cream
Product Price: Php 60 (7g)

I am suffering from atopic dermatitis and sometimes diagnosed as skin asthma. I have tried dermatological creams as prescribed by dermatologists that I have attended to. By now, I can not remember the count of how many dermatologists I visited. Anyways, I am happy that I found the one.

Informations are printed on the box and the measures on using it. However, if you search it in world wide web, others have hyped this item to use on the face as it brings good effect to the skin. I just want to warn others on the true use and harmful ingredients that may bring unlikely effect in the long run. This product contains Clobetasol which is may make the skin thinner and may cause blister. It is still better to check it with your dermatologist before using.

This is the famous packaging of LS BL Cream. If you are looking for one, it is not that hard to find. They are widely available even on the streets but beware that may there be a fake ones. I recommend to buy it inside the pharmacies or drugstores. But lately, I had a news that some pharmacies are asking for prescriptions before they allow customers to buy it. Maybe because of the ingredients that may do harm. In whole honesty, I did not tried it because a dermatologist prescribed it. I tried it because some of my workmates recommend it to me since they are using this to there own skin problems for ages. Since I have tried many products and spend too much for each one that did not even gave me better improvements, I searched for this and used it. I am glad I tried it. Up to this one, I have it on me and using it. Just sharing, atopic dermatitis can not be cured. They are triggered now and then. So far, my I did not have a break out just like before. There are some that needed attention but this cream handled it good for me.

For the formula, it is thick and white. I recommend to apply it generously and evenly but be aware on what is indicated in the label. Safety first.

Have you tried this product already? Do you have thoughts about this one? Kindly write it in the comment section :)

Innisfree Blueberry Rebalancing Skin | A Product Review

Blueberries are high in nutrients and are enriched with anti-oxidants. They also provide health benefits. In line with Innisfree's skinfood products, Innisfree introduced their blueberry line that promises skin hydration and pH balancing.

Brand Name: Innisfree
Product Name: Blueberry Rebalancing Skin
Product Type: Toner
Product Price: Php 300 (150mL)

What I love about Innisfree's skinfood, they are not as expensive as their other products. As far as I can remember, Innisfree is my comfort when it comes to Korean skincare. I have tried several but I am not still convinced on what my skin really needs. I have bumped into this line and why not give it a try? From many months of using, my skin feels hydrated and dewy. My face is not as oily as before.

The thing that I like more about Innisfree's skinfood, they are simple. The packaging is simple as well as the ingredients. If you are concerned about the formula, then their skinfood line is good for you. I have also reviewed their Broccoli Clearing Lotion here. This product also contains propanediol that eases the absorption to the skin and glycerin which is a moisturizer that treats and prevents dryness and irritation.

Aside from the cup, it is also has stopper that prevents leak whenever possible. It is okay to remove it when you started using it. But in my case, I still attached it after using just in case I need to bring it anywhere with me. I also like the transparency of the bottle and its simplicity. I can easily determine if I need to repurchase one soon.

The formula is watery and transparent. There is no stickiness to the feel and it easily absorbed by the skin. I apply it using my palm without cotton because whenever I use cotton, I think that most of the liquid was absorbed by it and need to use more. For the odor, it smells citrusy compared to the blueberry smell. At first, the smell stings but eventually, I get used to it. It is more tolerable now and smells refreshing.

For my months of usage and used almost a half of the bottle, I can say that my face is hydrated and not irritated as before. But over-all, I did not see great improvement. Maybe, this is also because of the next products I used after toning. If you want to rehydrate and your skin is sensitive, I would recommend this. But if you want a holy grail and total performace, you may try other products that will focus on your concerns.
