Innisfree Blueberry Rebalancing Skin | A Product Review

Blueberries are high in nutrients and are enriched with anti-oxidants. They also provide health benefits. In line with Innisfree's skinfood products, Innisfree introduced their blueberry line that promises skin hydration and pH balancing.

Brand Name: Innisfree
Product Name: Blueberry Rebalancing Skin
Product Type: Toner
Product Price: Php 300 (150mL)

What I love about Innisfree's skinfood, they are not as expensive as their other products. As far as I can remember, Innisfree is my comfort when it comes to Korean skincare. I have tried several but I am not still convinced on what my skin really needs. I have bumped into this line and why not give it a try? From many months of using, my skin feels hydrated and dewy. My face is not as oily as before.

The thing that I like more about Innisfree's skinfood, they are simple. The packaging is simple as well as the ingredients. If you are concerned about the formula, then their skinfood line is good for you. I have also reviewed their Broccoli Clearing Lotion here. This product also contains propanediol that eases the absorption to the skin and glycerin which is a moisturizer that treats and prevents dryness and irritation.

Aside from the cup, it is also has stopper that prevents leak whenever possible. It is okay to remove it when you started using it. But in my case, I still attached it after using just in case I need to bring it anywhere with me. I also like the transparency of the bottle and its simplicity. I can easily determine if I need to repurchase one soon.

The formula is watery and transparent. There is no stickiness to the feel and it easily absorbed by the skin. I apply it using my palm without cotton because whenever I use cotton, I think that most of the liquid was absorbed by it and need to use more. For the odor, it smells citrusy compared to the blueberry smell. At first, the smell stings but eventually, I get used to it. It is more tolerable now and smells refreshing.

For my months of usage and used almost a half of the bottle, I can say that my face is hydrated and not irritated as before. But over-all, I did not see great improvement. Maybe, this is also because of the next products I used after toning. If you want to rehydrate and your skin is sensitive, I would recommend this. But if you want a holy grail and total performace, you may try other products that will focus on your concerns.

Thayers Witch Hazel Rose Petal | A Product Review

Whenever I am looking for a skincare product, I watch videos in Youtube or search reviews on Google. I have tried Innisfree samples but I was not convinced since they are more expensive compared to others with such good volume. One of well-known Pinay Youtube influencer recommended this toner which she agreed that it will give best results to any skin type. She made me convinced and I searched for it online. Now, I will soon emptied the bottle.

Brand Name: Thayers
Product Name: Witch hazel (Rose Petal)
Product Type: Toner
Product Price: Php 695 (355mL)

I am using this for almost a year now and still counting. This is an American Brand and I can say there are no bad reactions to my skin and no outstanding happened either. But this is worth the money as you can see. Since we all have different skin types and I can not say that what is good for me is good for you or what is bad, I think it is still better to try it for yourself especially now there are small volumes available online as samplers. But if you are a fan of witch hazel, it is definitely for you.

The formula is transparent and the smell is not too strong. At first, I am hesitant to the rose odor of it but eventually, I get used to it. I apply this every time I washed my face and this becomes a habit.

When I apply it, I just apply it as is. I do not use cotton because I think, the cotton just absorbs the liquid and my face has not given enough amount. But it is still depends on how you apply toner and what fits you. The thing I like about this is it is not sticky and it will get dry easily. I also have a pocket of this whenever I go because this can also be a mist. It does not sting and it will leave you refresh. But to be honest, I have not yet found my toner. Now that it will be emptied, I am searching for other toners that will eventually have a better result to my skin.

Witch Hazel promised to treat certain conditions and it has an astringent effects. Meanwhile, rose petals are used for its astringent and antibacterial power. It has a good combination and I have nothing against it. For almost a year of applying it, I did not breakout but I have pimples from time to time usually on the red days. I maybe need a more powerful since my skin is oily and sensitive.

I still recommend this one. It is cheaper than others and have a good formula. Have you already tried it? I would like to know your thoughts with this.
