Mi Band 4 After 2 Weeks | Update!

I have posted my unboxing on this blog and you may check it out for my first impressions and brief walkthrough. I am now using this for 2 weeks now and I still wear it all the time except when I take a bath. Even though this is water resistant, I do not feel the need to wear it at this times. It just feels uncomfortable. I also mentioned last time that I will buy screen protector and new strap for this, sadly, I am not happy with the strap because it is thick and kinda hard. It feels heavy but tolerable. And for the screen protector, I had not received it. I was so disappointed so I decided not to put one because based on the reviews I have read online, the screen composition of Mi Band 4 is good enough for daily light use. I do not think I would have a problem with it in the future, so be it.

Because of people now being conscious on their health, sports watch or band becomes popular. I am monitoring my light exercises then and then and I think it is consistent including the burned Calories and the bpm. Check out below for comparison between days I exercised.

As much as possible, I try to exercise once a week and based on the Calories that I burned as stated on the images above, there are no significant difference on each. I also monitor my heart rate. During the execution of the workouts, the tiredness I feel and the bpm stated on every workout result is almost same so I do not have doubts on it.

Before I bought this for myself, I checked the main functions that is totally standing out like its sleep monitoring. To be honest, it is unusual for me to monitor my sleeping habits because I do not have a sleeping pattern. I sleep whenever I feel it and wake up whenever my mind and body needs to. But it does not mean I am not sleeping at night and not waking up in the morning. I added some results below.

It is still not comfortable wearing this band at night though, still curiosity strikes me on my sleeping behavior. In this monitoring, it also states the hours you have deep and light sleep and how long you stayed awake. It also shows what percentage you are at the time you started to sleep and on what time you woke up. It just did not state it above but you can see it on Mi Application. At this one, I can not monitor my deep sleep and light sleep myself so I will leave it like that.

My only concern is in its step counts. Because on the 1st week of usage and I am excited using it, I noticed that at the time I am riding a vehicle, my counts increases. It bothers me at first but when I checked samsung health on my phone to check if this is usual, it also has the same result. So I think if you really need an accurate step count monitoring, there are devices specialized for it. But for glimpse on the steps you made for the whole day, it is enough.

On its battery life, Xiaomi stands that it will last for about 20 days. On my experienced, I recharged it after 14 days so I am nothing against Xiaomi. I also charged it for less than 2 hours I think. For a small bucks of money, I still think this is a win-win.
